About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Journal of Pharmascience accepts scientific articles as original reasearch articles and review articles on pharmacy and health.

Journal of Pharmascience publishes various scientific articles covering Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in the field but not limited to:

  1. Clinical Pharmacy
  2. Community Pharmacy
  3. Pharmacology
  4. Natural Pharmacy
  5. Pharmaceutical Chemistry
  6. Pharmaceutical Technology
  7. Pharmaceutical Management
  8. Pharmaceutical Education

Apart from the topics above, the Journal of Pharmascience also accepts other manuscripts in the health field, such as:

  1. Validation and developement of analytic methods for a variety of samples, including food
  2. Implementation and analysis of a variety of surveys related to medical therapy, disease, health pricedure and other aspect of health

 

Peer Review Process

Every paper will reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers.

Reviewers are selected according to the scope of the article and based on their capabilities in writing national and international articles, as reflected in their biographies

The review process uses a double-blind review.

Publication Frequency

Journal of Pharmascience is published twice a year, in March and October.

Open Access Policy

Journal of Pharmascience is an open access journal, meaning that all content is freely available at no cost to users or their institutions. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles or use them for any other lawful purpose. To request a complete hard copy, please contact the journal administrator.

Starting March 2026, APC's in Journal of Pharmascience will follow the following rules:

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)

Fast-Track Review: 3.000.000.00 (IDR)

Article Publication Charge: 1.500.000,00 (IDR)

Article Download : 0.00 (IDR)

Article Print : 250.000,00 (IDR) (optional)

Article Withdrawal (Under Review) : 1.500.000,00 (IDR)

Policy of screening for plagiarism

Manuscripts to be published in the Pharmascience Journal will be checked for similarity using Turnitin (turnitin.com). If the similarity exceeds 20% in the initial stage before review by reviewers, the article will be rejected.

Journal History

Jurnal Pharmascience (JPS) is a journal published by the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Lambung Mangkurat University. JPS is published twice a year. JPS was first published in 2014 at the initiative of Dr. rer. nat. apt. Liling Triyasmono, M.Sc., as the head of the Pharmacy Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, ULM, at that time.

The first editor-in-chief was Destria Indah Sari, M.Farm., Apt., who was assisted by editorial members, namely M. Ikhwan Rizki, M.Farm., Apt., and Mia Fitriana, M.Si., Apt.

In the following period until 2025, the editor-in-chief was Prof. Dr. Sutomo, M.Si., Apt., and starting in 2026, the editor-in-chief will be apt. Dita Ayulia Dwi Sandi, M.Sc.

JPS publishes various articles in the fields of pharmacy and health from various institutions throughout Indonesia. In 2021, JPS received a Sinta 4 accreditation and increased in 2025 to SINTA 2 based on No. SK. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025 dated March 21, 2025, starting from Volume 11 No. 1 of 2024 to Volume 15 No. 2 of 2028.
