Author Guidelines

To avoid articles being rejected during initial screening, submitted articles must meet all criteria in scope and focus, the Plagiarism Policy, and the author guidelines.

Research Articles:Research articles are writing that has never been published before and should not exceed 8000 words. Tables and pictures, including other illustrations, should be limited to a maximum of 6 pieces. The number of bibliographies in the last 10 years (counting from the year the article was published) is at least 20.

Review article: Review article must be in accordance with the specified journal scope, and evaluations must not exceed 10.000 words. Maximum of 6 tables, pictures, and other illustrations. The number of bibliographies in the last 10 years (counting from the year the article was published) is at least 30.

The paper is A4-size paper with top, bottom, left, and right margins of 1 inch (2.54 cm) each.

The paper is typed in two columns, and the distance between the columns is 1.27 cm (0.5 inches).

The languages used are Indonesian and English.

All documents must be typed in Times New Roman font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing and 0 pt spacing.

Rules for writing titles and authors:

The title must be typed in Times New Roman font, font size 20, 1 spacing, and 0 pt, bold, centre. Maximum 25 words.

Author and institution names, including email addresses, are written in size 10 letters.

All titles, authors, and abstracts must be in column 1 format and centred.

The author's statement does not include professional titles such as "Managing Director" or academic degrees (Dr., M.Sc.) or membership in any professional institutions (Senior Member IEEE).

Rules for writing chapter titles:

All chapter titles must be typed in size 12, bolt (bold). Every word in the chapter title must be typed in capital letters. An example of a chapter title is "INTRODUCTION."

The initial letter of the sub-chapter is written in capital letters; the next letter is written in lower case. The writing is in bolts (bold). For example, "Chapter title section."

The manuscript should be divided into the following parts:

Abstract: An abstract of a maximum of 200 words that describes the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions and provides important information from the research carried out, accompanied by 5 keywords. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English.

Introduction: The introduction must provide an overview of the objectives of the research and a brief description of previous research accompanied by references.

Research Methods: Research methods must include at least the tools and materials used, research procedures, and data analysis. For research using test animal/human samples, it is mandatory to include an ethical suitability letter number.

Results and Discussion: Results and discussion must provide an overview of research results, a review of research results, the relationship between research results and theory, and a comparison of research results with existing research results.

Conclusion: The conclusion must answer the research objectives.

References: Refer to a minimum of 20 pieces of literature (for a review of at least 30 pieces of literature) sourced from domestic or foreign research published no later than the last 10 years. 80% of references must come from primary literatur.

Citations from other articles must include the author's name and year of publication. If the literature has more than two authors, the last name of the first author is written followed by "et al.," then the year (Davis, 2013; Gannu et al., 2007).

Especially for manuscripts in the form of review articles, they are adjusted to these provisions. The review article must be an overview of the pharmaceutical field. Refers to a minimum of 30 pieces of literature sourced from domestic or foreign research published no later than the last 5 years.

Rules for writing table and figure:

Figures and tables must be typed in the centre of the desired column. The first letter in the table or figure title must be uppercase, followed by lowercase. For tables, use the Roman numeral sequence "I, II, III, etc." For images, use the Arabic lifting order "1, 2, 3, etc." For table titles, use size 10. Graphics are included in the image category; they can use colour.
